Jan 22 :: New Yorker + BreakThru Radio Session
Oh boy are we excited about Thursday show at Joe's Pub or what? Get there early for the fantastic Matt Singer who will be opening.
Ooh and exciting: Pick up a copy of the current issue of The New Yorker where they preview our Joe's Pub show saying: "The local favorites in the Undisputed Heavyweights come armed with lounge-ready shtick, but they are more than just tongue-in-cheek hipsters. Brandishing acoustic guitars and a horn section, the Heavyweights deliver an accomplished rock/blues/soul hybrid, and their endearingly uninhibited front man, Casey Shea, puts them right in the tradition of vaudevillian showmanship. With the singer-songwriter Matt Singer."
To listen to the radio session we recorded last week in the BreakThru Radio studios plus the Q&A afterwards featuring questions from our contest winners go here.

December 13th :: Wes On Sirius Radio
Last night Wes was a guest host on Sirius Radio's Left Of Center channel during BrooklynVegan's Blog Radio. For a playlist of the music he played, pictures and a rundown of the whole experience go check out his blog.
Sirius Radio has a big wall where all the famous bands sign their name and Wes managed to squeeze the Heavyweights into a little spot next to The Shins.
